Led by Yalla, dozens of Seattle eating places, cooks, pop-ups and retailers will increase cash this month for the Palestine Kids’s Aid Fund, a nonprofit nongovernmental group based in 1992 that gives help and medical care to youngsters within the Center East.
The fundraiser, began by Taylor Cheney at her Center Jap road meals spot on Capitol Hill final month, has since expanded, with dozens of big-name Seattle eating places becoming a member of her to fundraise towards medical help for youngsters in Gaza.
“I’m so blissful and shocked we’ve got so many (eating places) becoming a member of” the fundraiser, Cheney stated. “It’s for an excellent trigger: the Palestinian youngsters.”
Cheney and others have raised about $7,000 to date.
Fundraising days and phrases fluctuate for the completely different members.
